A district-level powerlifting competition, organized under the banner of Raw Powerlifting India, concluded on Sunday night. Around 60 athletes from across the district participated.

Gurpreet Singh, Secretary of Raw Powerlifting India, shared that the event’s chief guest was BJP Youth Wing Indore City Minister and Chairman of Raw Powerlifting MP, Gurveen Chhabra. Special guests included Manpreet Kaur, President of Raw Powerlifting India, and Ujjwal Singh Panwar, the organization’s treasurer. Jaipal Singh Randhawa, Chairman of Raw Powerlifting Rajasthan, presided over the event.

Other dignitaries included Jameel Mohammad (President, Raw Powerlifting Rajasthan), Pawan Kumar Prabhati (President, Raw Powerlifting Kota), Tofiq Inamdar (Assistant Treasurer, Raw Powerlifting India), and several others, including Raj Rawat, Ajay Meghwanshi, Dilip Mehra, Vijay Dangi, Chandramohan, and Tanveer Miyade.

Judging responsibilities were handled by Ajhar Ansari (Treasurer, Raw Powerlifting Jhalawar), Ishwar Meghwal (Vice President, Raw Powerlifting Rajasthan), Sohail Agwan (Assistant Treasurer, Jhalawar), and Faisal Khan.

In the men’s category, Mohit Jatav was named the Strong Man of Jhalawar for the bench press event, while Balraj Singh earned the same title in the deadlift category. In the women’s category, Chitranshi Shakyawal stood out.

Gym owners Ravi Gurjar, Rohit Baswal, Om Bana, Shakib Khan, and Ishu Ansari encouraged and motivated the participants.
